View All Our MissionsEAL extensive experience with liquid propellants means we are well equipped to provide comprehensive training in the correct handling, storage and transportation of liquid propellants.
We provide propellant handling courses, detailing the hazards of the propellants we use, along with instruction in how to compile procedures to ensure operations run smoothly. We also provide personnel with the opportunity to operate in a SCAPE suit in a safe environment, in order for them to experience what it's like to fuel a satellite without the inherent dangers associated with it.
In addition, in collaboration with the Space Industry Centre for Excellence (SIC4E) and with support from the UKSA we offer courses in space propulsion safety. A combination of remote learning and on-site practicals are delivered to give new graduates and professionals in order to enhance their practical capabilities and subsystem knowledge. We have delivered courses to the CAA, Thales UK, and 60 students from 10 different UK universities, as well as visiting overseas Primes and SME's to enhance understanding of propellant handling and safety.
