EAL fuels EnMAP as part of the SpaceX Transporter 4 mission

European Astrotech kicked off the year with a launch campaign in Cape Canaveral, Florida, after being contracted to pressure test and fuel the Environmental Mapping and Analysis Program (EnMAP) satellite by OHB. EnMAP is a German hyperspectral satellite mission that aims to monitor Earth’s environment on a global scale, in order to provide information on the status and evolution of various ecosystems. EnMAP joined 40 spacecraft, including cubesats, microsats and picosats to make up the Transporter-4 mission; a dedicated rideshare program, that was launched atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket on 1st April 2022. The launch by SpaceX made it the 12th mission this year for the company and the 7th launch and landing for this singular booster.
