Galileo FOC-M1

The ninth Soyuz launch from the Guiana Space Center (CSG) will place into a circular orbit, two new satellites of the Europe’s GALILEO satellite navigation system at an altitude of about 23,522 km.

The launcher will be carrying a total payload of 1,607 kg, including about 1,460kg for the two satellites, to be released into its targeted orbit at an inclination of 55,040 degrees.

The launch will be from the Soyuz Launch Complex (ELS) in Sinnamary, French Guiana.
