Propellant Hazards and Handling Course

European Astrotech offers a bespoke course for propulsion engineers that need a thorough grounding in the hazards of common storable bi and mono propellants.  The course specifically deals with the hazards presented during loading and off-loading operations, and those present during longterm contact of the propellants with spacecraft propulsion system components and materails.  In addition the attendees are fully briefed on the use of SCAPE (Self Contained Atmosphere Protetctive Equipment) suits and will participate in a session handling actual live propellant in SCAPE.  The course results in the presentation of a Propellant Handlers Certificate and prepares the propulsion engineer for loading activities at launch site.
